Think TED when communicating as a leader
You may think that your company communications are serious enough that you can’t share your message in just two or three minutes. I agree with that, but then I’d argue that you’re probably not communicating early and often.
If you can’t be TikTok, at least try being TED. TED talks cover some of the most complex and important topics the world can think of and yet the longest talk can be 18 minutes. Several talks are three, five and nine minutes long. If the world’s best speakers need just that much time to make a point, why do you need more?
And if Richard St. John can share 8 secrets in 3 minutes, I’m sure you can be just as good!
